Jumper for 18" Doll
Someone recently gave Zaylee one of those 18" dolls that are so popular. She really likes it, and I figured I'd jump on the bandwagon of making clothes for her new doll. Joann's was selling Simplicity patterns for $1.99 each, so I went ahead and picked up a pattern for doll clothes...
...and made a cute little dress. It was actually pretty fun, sewing up that tiny little dress. I can see dolly dressmaking becoming addicting. Why not, I could always use another craft addiction! :-)
One great thing about making doll clothes is that I can use up little scraps of fabric. This dress was made of three 10" squares - one for the front, one for the back, and one for the inner facing. Great scrapbuster!
