New Chokers

I totally love this choker - the white lace part was simple and worked up really quickly. But then comes the rose - it finishes the choker and makes it look so gorgeous! I just love how it turned out.

And I finished the black choker I was working on. I decided to go with a button closure. I could see this looking gorgeous with black velvet ribbon ties in the back, but I unfortunately don't have any black velvet ribbon. Anyway, it looks very nice with a black button in the back. I love the pattern of this choker, with the alternating scallops going back and forth, looking like a sultry, slithering snake.

I checked out a pattern book from the library, it's chock full of turn-of-the-century patterns for edgings and more. I'm loving making all sorts of lacy accessories using these vintage patterns! Check out these beautiful vintage-inspired items of loveliness.

I have another choker that's almost ready, I just need to put some sort of closure on it and take pictures. I can't decide if I want it to close with a button or with ribbons. I think it will be my favorite choker - it's black and kind of snake-like, and very cool.
